My name is Tanveer and in class eight our science teacher gave us a two-week group project on an environmental topic which our group of four chose to be water conservation. The first week we spent mostly arguing about who would do which part and nobody wanted to write while everyone wanted to design the poster. On the night before the presentation we sat together for three hours and finally divided the work properly — one researched facts one wrote clearly one arranged the poster and one practised speaking. A group of four people does not automatically do four times the work of one — without clear roles and a real deadline the group can drift for most of the time then rush at the end. A strong group needs someone willing to say we need to decide now and then actually decide.
