My name is Noman and my best friend moved to another city six months ago when his father got a job in Lahore.
On his last day at school we did not talk much and just sat together at lunch looking at our food.
When his van drove away I went inside quickly so nobody would see me cry.
For the first two weeks I kept turning to say something to him in class and then remembering he was not there.
That small moment of forgetting and then remembering was the hardest part.
We video call every Friday now and it is not the same but it is something.
Sadness after losing a close friend means the friendship was real.
Missing someone is a kind of respect you give them without saying a word.

کسی قریبی دوست کے جانے کے بعد اداسی کا مطلب ہے دوستی حقیقی تھی۔
کسی کو یاد کرنا ایک طرح کی عزت ہے جو آپ بغیر کوئی لفظ کہے دیتے ہیں۔

अब हर शुक्रवार वीडियो कॉल करते हैं और वैसا नहीं लेकिन कुछ तو है।
किसी करीबी दोस्त के जाने के बाद उदासी का मतलब है दोस्ती असली थी।
किसी को याद करना एक तरह का सम्मान है जो बिना शब्द कहे देते हैं।
