My name is Rashid.
I live with my family in a rented house in Rawalpindi.
We moved to this house two years ago when our landlord increased the rent on our previous home.
The walls had some cracks when we moved in so my father repaired them with cement.
We painted the rooms ourselves to save money.
My father chose white for the main room and I chose blue for the room I share with my brother.
My mother has organised the kitchen perfectly with labelled containers.
Our biggest problem is that the roof leaks a little during heavy rain.
We put buckets in the right places whenever it rains heavily.
Despite all the difficulties we laugh and eat and sleep in this house with full hearts.
My father always says that it is not the walls that make a home but the love of the people inside it.
I believe that with all my heart.
میرا نام راشد ہے۔
میں راولپنڈی میں اپنے خاندان کے ساتھ ایک کرائے کے گھر میں رہتا ہوں۔
ہم دو سال پہلے اس گھر میں آئے جب ہمارے مالک مکان نے ہمارے پچھلے گھر کا کرایہ بڑھا دیا۔
جب ہم آئے تو دیواروں میں کچھ دراڑیں تھیں اس لیے میرے والد نے انہیں سیمنٹ سے ٹھیک کیا۔
ہم نے پیسے بچانے کے لیے خود ہی کمرے رنگے۔
میرے والد نے مرکزی کمرے کے لیے سفید رنگ چنا اور میں نے اس کمرے کے لیے نیلا رنگ چنا جو میں اپنے بھائی کے ساتھ شیئر کرتا ہوں۔
میری ماں نے باورچی خانے کو لیبل لگے ڈبوں کے ساتھ بالکل درست طریقے سے ترتیب دیا ہے۔
ہمارا سب سے بڑا مسئلہ یہ ہے کہ بھاری بارش کے دوران چھت تھوڑی ٹپکتی ہے۔
جب بھاری بارش ہوتی ہے تو ہم صحیح جگہوں پر بالٹیاں رکھتے ہیں۔
تمام مشکلوں کے باوجود ہم اس گھر میں پورے دل سے ہنستے، کھاتے اور سوتے ہیں۔
میرے والد ہمیشہ کہتے ہیں کہ گھر کو گھر دیواریں نہیں بلکہ اندر رہنے والے لوگوں کی محبت بناتی ہے۔
میں یہ بات پورے دل سے مانتا ہوں۔

मैं रावलपिंडी में अपने परिवार के साथ एक किराए के घर में रहता हूँ।
हम दो साल पहले इस घर में आए जब हमारे मकान मालिक ने हमारे पिछले घर का किराया बढ़ा दिया।
जब हम आए तो दीवारों में कुछ दरारें थीं इसलिए मेरे पिता ने उन्हें सीमेंट से ठीक किया।
हमने पैसे बचाने के लिए खुद ही कमरे रंगे।
मेरे पिता ने मुख्य कमरे के लिए सफेद रंग चुना और मैंने उस कमरे के लिए नीला रंग चुना जो मैं अपने भाई के साथ शेयर करता हूँ।
मेरी माँ ने रसोई को लेबल लगे डिब्बों के साथ बिल्कुल सही तरीके से व्यवस्थित किया है।
हमारी सबसे बड़ी समस्या यह है कि भारी बारिश के दौरान छत थोड़ी टपकती है।
जब भारी बारिश होती है तो हम सही जगहों पर बाल्टियाँ रखते हैं।
सभी मुश्किलों के बावजूद हम इस घर में पूरे दिल से हँसते, खाते और सोते हैं।
मेरे पिता हमेशा कहते हैं कि घर को घर दीवारें नहीं बल्कि अंदर रहने वाले लोगों का प्यार बनाता है।
मैं यह बात पूरे दिल से मानता हूँ।
