My name is Kabeer and in my final year exams I had six subjects to study and felt completely buried under the work.
I sat at my desk for thirty minutes doing nothing because I could not decide which subject to open first.
My university sister came to my room, pulled up a chair and said tell me what needs to be done.
She wrote everything on paper and drew a simple box for each subject saying you do not study six subjects tonight — you study one box.
I chose the smallest box first and thirty minutes later it was done, then the next, and by midnight four boxes were complete.
Feeling overwhelmed is not about how much work there is but how messy it looks in your head before organising.
A list turns a cloud into a list — that is all it takes.
