My name is Dabeer and I think cooking should be a compulsory subject in schools for both boys and girls.
Every human being eats three times a day for their entire life and knowing how to cook is one of the most basic important skills.
When I went to university I ate expensive takeaway or unhealthy snacks because I could not cook anything.
Cooking also teaches following instructions carefully measuring accurately and working with limited resources.
Feeding yourself and your family is not a gendered responsibility — it is a human one.
میرا نام دبیر ہے اور میرے خیال میں کھانا پکانا اسکولوں میں لڑکوں اور لڑکیوں دونوں کے لیے لازمی مضمون ہونا چاہیے۔

जब यूनिवर्सिटी गया तो महँगा टेकअवे या अस्वस्थ नाश्ते खाता था क्योंकि कुछ भी नहीं बना सकता था।
खाना पکाना हिदायतों पर अमल, सटीक माप और सीमित संसाधनों में काम करना भी سिखाता है।
खुद को और परिवार को खिलाना लैंगिक ज़िम्मेदारी नहीं — یہ मानवीय ज़िम्मेदारी है।
