My name is Hassan.
I work as a food delivery rider in Lahore.
My meals are very simple because I am always busy between deliveries.
My usual lunch is a single paratha with a fried egg or a bowl of chana from a morning stall.
The hardest part is on hot summer days when I deliver ice cream while burning in the heat outside.
The most interesting orders are large family party orders where the family is waiting at the door excited and hungry.
I always greet customers politely and they usually tip me well.
The restaurant food I carry smells delicious but I have learned not to think about it.
Some customers offer me water on very hot days and that small kindness means a great deal to me.
Instead I focus on delivering food safely and on time.
This job has taught me that the person who brings food to your door works just as hard as the person who cooks it.
I am proud of my work even on the hardest days.

جو ریستوران کا کھانا میں لے جاتا ہوں اس کی خوشبو لذیذ ہوتی ہے لیکن میں نے اس کے بارے میں نہ سوچنا سیکھ لیا ہے۔
کچھ گاہک بہت گرم دنوں میں مجھے پانی پیش کرتے ہیں اور یہ چھوٹی مہربانی میرے لیے بہت معنی رکھتی ہے۔
اس کی بجائے میں کھانا محفوظ اور وقت پر پہنچانے پر توجہ دیتا ہوں۔
اس نوکری نے مجھے سکھایا ہے کہ جو شخص آپ کے دروازے پر کھانا لاتا ہے وہ اتنی ہی محنت کرتا ہے جتنی وہ جو پکاتا ہے۔
میں سب سے مشکل دنوں میں بھی اپنے کام پر فخر کرتا ہوں۔

जो खाना ले जाता हूँ उसकी खुशबू लाजवाब है लेकिन उसके बारे में न सोचना सीख लिया।
कुछ ग्राहक गर्म दिनों पर पानी देते हैं और यह छोटी दयालुता बहुत मायने रखती है।
इसकी बजाय सुरक्षित और समय पर पहुँचाने पर ध्यान देता हूँ।
इस नौकरी ने सिखाया कि दरवाज़े पर खाना लाने वाला उतनी ही मेहनत करता है जितना पकाने वाला।
