Yesterday I told you that I am proud to be Pakistani. Today I want to tell you about my strengths and weaknesses. No person is perfect, and I am not afraid to admit that. One of my biggest strengths is patience with difficult problems. When a program does not work, I do not get angry. I sit calmly and search for the mistake until I find it. Another strength of mine is consistency. I may not be the fastest learner in my class, but I show up every single day and keep practicing, whether it is programming or English. My third strength is that I listen carefully before I speak. This habit has helped me learn from my teachers, my parents, and even from Bilal honest comments. Now let me talk about my weaknesses. My biggest weakness is that I sometimes lack confidence when speaking English in front of strangers. My mind knows the right words, but my mouth hesitates, afraid of making a mistake in public. Another weakness is that I compare myself to other students too often, which sometimes makes me feel behind, even when I am actually doing fine. I also struggle with mathematics, as I mentioned before, and I have to work twice as hard on it compared to programming. I am learning that admitting a weakness is not a sign of failure. It is the first honest step toward improvement. My aunt Chachi Sana once told me, you understand more than you think, you just need more practice, and that sentence applies to every weakness I have. I am working every day to turn my weaknesses into smaller versions of themselves, one honest attempt at a time.

When someone is asked what are your strengths and weaknesses, the easiest structure to follow is the one used in this paragraph: name a strength, give a short example, then move to the next one. This pattern - strength plus example - is much stronger than simply listing single words like hardworking or smart.

A well written personal strengths and weaknesses paragraph should give roughly equal space to both sides.
