My name is Hamdan and the biggest difference I found between school and college was the freedom and the responsibility that came with it.
In school the timetable was fixed the seat was assigned and if you were absent someone noticed — in college none of this happens.
I thought the freedom was wonderful and spent afternoons in the canteen — by first semester exams I was shocked at how little I had prepared.
In school the system saves you from your own laziness — in college the system trusts you to save yourself.
In my second semester I made my own timetable and kept it — my results improved and more importantly I felt I had earned them.
میرا نام حمدان ہے اور اسکول اور کالج میں سب سے بڑا فرق جو ملا وہ آزادی اور اس کے ساتھ آنے والی ذمہ داری تھی۔
اسکول میں ٹائم ٹیبل مقرر تھا، سیٹ مقرر تھی اور غیر حاضری نوٹ ہوتی تھی — کالج میں ان میں سے کچھ نہیں ہوتا۔

دوسرے سمیسٹر میں خود ٹائم ٹیبل بنایا اور پورا کیا — نتائج بہتر ہوئے اور اہم یہ کہ کمائے ہوئے لگے۔
मेरा नाम हमदان है और स्कूल-कॉलेज में सबसे बड़ा अंतर जो मिला वह आज़ादी और उसके साथ ज़िम्मेदारी थी।
स्कूल में टाइमटेबल तय था, सीट तय थी और अनुपस्थिति नोटिस होती — कॉलेज में इनमें से कुछ नहीं होता।
لگा आज़ादी शानदार है और दोपहरें कैंटीन में बिताईं — पहले सेमेस्टर परीक्षाएँ आईं तो हैरान हुआ कितना कम तैयार था।
स्कूल में व्यवस्था आलस से बचाती है — कॉलेज में व्यवस्था खुद बचाने का भरोसा रखती है।
दूسरे सेमेस्टर में खुद टाइमटेबल बनाया और रखا — नतीजे बेहतर हुए और ज़रूरी यह कि कमाए हुए लगे।
