My name is Nael and there is a very particular feeling that comes at the end of a long journey when you finally arrive home.
From the bus window I could see familiar things — the large roundabout the billboard near the bridge the row of trees outside the hospital.
In our street I could smell the bakery two doors down and the jasmine growing on our neighbour fence.
My mother was cooking and the smell of food came out to meet me at the gate — my younger brother ran out and grabbed my arm without saying anything.
Home is a collection of smells sights and sounds that belong specifically to you and after a long journey they become almost unbearably good.

माँ खाना बना रही थीं और खाने की खुशबू गेट पर मिली — छोटे भाई ने बिना कुछ कहे बाँह पकड़ ली।
घर खुशबुओं, दृश्यों और आवाज़ों का संग्रह है जो खास आपका है और लंबे सफर बाद असहनीय रूप से अच्छे लगते हैं।
