My name is Daniyar and I think watching too much television is harmful especially for young students. When I was in class seven I watched four hours of TV every evening and my grades dropped, my sleep was poor and I had less time for anything else. My father set a limit of one hour on weekdays and within three weeks my focus in school improved noticeably. Excessive television is passive — you sit and receive entertainment but you are not creating solving or building anything. Television works well as a short reward after productive work but becomes a problem when it replaces productive work entirely. A screen should be a window to the world not a wall that separates you from it.
