My name is Kashif and one morning I found an injured sparrow in our garden with a bent wing.
I picked her up gently and put her in a small box with a cloth at the bottom.
I gave her water from a dropper and small crumbs of bread for eight days.
On the ninth day she hopped to the edge of the box and flew out of the window.
I watched her fly until I could not see her any more.
That moment was better than any gift I have ever received.
